Marilyn Matthews Jarck

Marilyn Matthews Jarck, age 89, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020. Mrs. Jarck was born on October 11, 1931 in Catskill, New York to the late James and Theresa Gilbert Matthews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Paul; Virginia Miller; brother, James Matthews. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and was also a member of Grace Calvary Episcopal Church. Marilyn was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy, she was known to her grandchildren as "Grandma". Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Walter Jarck, of Clarkesville; children, Lisa Arney; Nancy Clontz; Paul Jarck; Laura Dennis; Christine Cunningham; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter on the way. A Private Memorial Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronnie Greene Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (Gainesville), 743 Spring Street, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
