Marilyn Lennette Farmer Brooks

Marilyn Lennette Farmer Brooks, age 58, of Clarkesville, Georgia died Monday, July 20, 2009 at a local area hospital. Ms. Brooks was born on July 12, 1951 in Princeton, WV to the late Delbert Ray and Martha Ladenia Reed Farmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Gilbert Farmer, Freddie Joe Farmer, Michael Ray Farmer, and Floyd Brownlow Farmer. Ms. Brooks was a member of Third Heaven and was a registered nurse having specialized in home health and hospice nursing. Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law: Cassie and Justin Belcher, Durham, NC; her son: Matthew Reed Brooks, Princeton, WV; her sisters: Jean Woods, Summerville, SC; Diane Farmer, Princeton, WV; her brother: Franklin Farmer, Princeton, WV. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2009 from the Fairview Christian Community Church in Princeton, WV. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
