Margie Morris Savage Clark, age 71, of Alto, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Mrs. Clark was born on April 30, 1943 in Cornelia, Georgia to the late Virgil and Nellie Terry Morris. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, homemaker, and business woman. She was a loving and caring person to everyone she came in contact with. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands, Tex Savage and James Clark. Survivors include daughter, Pansy Wright, of Alto; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Fern Savage, of St. Louis, MO., Lane and Karen Savage, of Cornelia; sisters, Sarah Harrison Boatwright, of Cornelia, Lavada Dorsey, of Cleveland, Barbara McClurg Morris, of Cornelia, Emily Anderson, of Cornelia, Deborah Morris Burrell, of Cornelia; brother, Richard Morris, of Cornelia; 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Roy Lee Mitchell and Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Entombment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 and from 11:00 a.m. to the funeral hour on Friday, May 1, 2015.
