Margaret Stamey Wilbanks

MARGARET STAMEY WILBANKS, age 81, of Mt. Airy, GA passed away on Monday, March 23, 2009. Mrs. Wilbanks was born in Habersham County, on February 15, 1928 to the late Claude C. and Mamie Allen Stamey. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Stamey. Mrs. Wilbanks was a member of Return Baptist Church for over 45 years and a homemaker. Survivors include daughter, Susan and Wesley Watkins, Mt. Airy, GA; sisters, Lois Zaccagnino, Lom Poc, CA, Frances Trotter, Clarkesville, GA, Vera Roberts, Mt. Airy, GA, and Imogene Dawkins, Oakwood, GA; brothers, Clyde Stamey, Clarkesville, GA and Johnny Stamey, Demorest, GA grandchild and Fiancé, Kathy Watkins and Kevin Ingram, Mt. Airy, GA; great-grandchild, Jada Ingram, Mt. Airy, GA. Funeral services will be held on 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Walter Burrell and Rev. Greg Burrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will received friends from 2-4 and 6-8 on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
