Margaret "Tina" Jones

Margaret “Tina” Jones, age 56, of Cornelia, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Mrs. Jones was born on June 15, 1962, in Taylors, South Carolina, to the late Dewey and Alma Partridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reid Jones. Mrs. Jones had served as a Correctional Officer with Lee Arrendale State Prison. She was a member of Alto Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dewey and Christine Hopkins of Mt. Airy; son, Sam Hopkins of Baldwin; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Tony Stutes of Gray Court, SC; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Grapelle Partridge of Cornelia and Gary and Polly Partridge of Easley, SC; and grandchildren: Eric Hopkins, Lisa Hopkins, Kris Hopkins, and Alexah Hopkins. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, February 1, 2019, at the funeral home.
