Mae Stephens Heimberger

MAE STEPHENS HEIMBERGER, age 87, of Alto, GA passed away, Wednesday, July 29, 2009 Born in Stephens County on August 14, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lando and Sally Edmonds Stephens. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Berle Heimberger and 3 brothers, Edgar Stephens, Ralph Stephens and Jack Stephens. Mrs. Heimberger was a member at the Alto Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Heimberger is survived by 3 sons, Steve Heimberger, Sr., Alto, GA, Ron Heimberger, Baldwin, GA and Billy Heimberger, Roebourne, W. Australia; 2 sisters, Grace Carter, Toccoa, GA and Bernice Armour, Alto, GA; 1 brother, Junior Stephens, Lula, GA; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Rev. Roy Rogers and Rev. Harrill Millsaps officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 6-8 Friday, July 31, 2009. Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
