.LUCILLE SEAGARS LEWALLEN, age 93, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at a local private care facility. Mrs. Lewallen was born on August 28, 1921 in Stephens County, Georgia, to the late Elias Segars and Mary Maebell Chitwood Segars. She is preceded in death by parents; husband, Jeff T. Lewallen; sisters, Anne Ruth Segars, Eva Mae Omans; brother, Robert Segars; grandson, Jeff David Hollifield. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She served 10 years with Carwood Manufacturing Company, 4 years with International Outerwear, and 15 years with Clarkesville Garment. She served as a Trimmer and Inspector with each company. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Jimmie and Ralph Wood, Clarkesville, Ga; Jane and Doug Hollifield, Clarkesville, GA; son, Tommie Lewallen; 8 Grandchildren,15 Great Grandchildren, 16 Great-Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Macedonia Baptist Church, with Rev. Leon Miller, Rev. Brion Williams, and Rev. Ronnie Powell. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2014.
