Lucille Daisy Smith

LUCILLE DAISY SMITH, age 87, of Lula, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Mrs. Smith was born on April 12, 1923, in Hall County, Georgia, to the late William "Bill" and Thannie Lou Cagle Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady Smith. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of the Belton Baptist Church in Lula, Georgia, where she was active in the Adult Sunday School Class, as well as a member of the Church's Ladies Club. Survivors include many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services are schedules for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Robert Nix and Rev. Shane Wehunt officiating. Interment will follow in Belton Baptist Church Cemetery in Lula, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
