Louise Mccollum Fincher

Louise McCollum Fincher, age 82, of Clarkesville, GA, died Saturday, April 14, 2007 at a private care facility. Mrs. Fincher was born on January 17, 1925 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Hobart L. and Sarah Rose Ada Roberts McCollum. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Randolph S. Fincher, and brothers, Loy McCollum, Sr. and Bobby McCollum. Mrs. Fincher worked in the Charleston Naval Shipyard during World War II. She was a member of the Ambassadors Club at Georgia Power. Mrs. Fincher was a homemaker. Survivors include: her brother: Marvin McCollum, Anderson, SC; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2007 from Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the services begins on Saturday. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 714, Gainesville, GA 30503.
