Louise Roberts Dalton

LOUISE ROBERTS DALTON, age 86, of Homer, GA, died Sunday, November 12, 2006 at the Lanier Park Hospital. Mrs. Dalton was born on March 24, 1920 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Luther Columbus and Lelia Brown Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, L.T. Dalton, a sister, Adeline Stone and a brother, Gene Roberts. Mrs. Dalton was retired from Chicopee Manufacturing. She was a member of the Charity Baptist Church; there she was a member of the Adult II Sunday School Class. Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law: Glenda and Jerry Boling, Homer, GA; her son and daughter-in-law: Milton and Mellisa Dalton, Homer, GA; her sister: Ruth Whitfield, Homer, GA; 5 grandchildren: Greg and Amy Boling, Vicki Leo; Ros and Amber Dalton, Mandy Dalton, and Millie Dalton; 3 great-grandchildren: Megan Boling, Daulton Boling, and Avery Boling. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2006 from the Charity Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Burrell and Rev. Young Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA from 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
