Lottie Belle Latty, age 101, of Gainesville entered heaven Saturday Sept. 12, 2020 at the Bell Minor nursing home. Lottie Belle was born February 24, 1919 in Gainesville to the late John C. & Harriett Merck Latty. She had worked in the textile industry for a number of years having worked at Gainesville Mill, Leece- Neville and later being a caregiver to many. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Gainesville. Survivors include, nephew John Latty, of Gainesville;niece, Harlie Latty, of Clarkesville; a number of great nieces and nephews also survive. (Including great nephew, Everett J. Huffman, of Demorest) Funeral services to honor Lottie Belle’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Latty & Rev. Doug Merck officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday Sept. 14, 2020 at Ward’s Funeral Home of Gainesville (758 Main Street, Gainesville, Georgia 30501) .
