Lois Ann Loudermilk Pruitt

LOIS ANN LOUDERMILK PRUITT, age 69, of Mt. Airy, GA, died Friday, May 19, 2006 at Lanier Park Hospital. Mrs. Pruitt was born on October 21, 1936 in Habersham County, Georgia. She was a daughter of the late Dock and Ruby Hill Loudermilk and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amy Cathey. Mrs. Pruitt was a homemaker and a member of the Carmi Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband: Thomas A. Pruitt, Mt. Airy, GA; Daughter: Loretta Cathey Thomas, Cleveland, GA; Sons: Lloyd Cathey, Alto, GA; Louis Cathey, Hollywood, GA; Sister: Clara Lee Beck Petera, Mt. Airy, GA; Brother: John W. Loudermilk, Mt. Airy, GA; 8 grandchildren: 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2006 from the Carmi Baptist Church with Rev. Philip Yarber and Rev. Sam Ragan officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lamar Purcell officiating at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel , Baldwin, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 12 to 2:15 p.m. on Sunday.
