Linda F. Martin

Linda Williams Martin, age 68, of Cornelia, Georgia, and formerly of Baldwin, Georgia went to be with the Lord on, Friday, April 22, 2016. Mrs. Martin was born on June 16, 1947 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Willie Mae Crump Alexander. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Nathaniel Alexander. She was a member of Baldwin Baptist Church. Mrs. Martin had served as a LPN with Habersham Medical Center and Banks-Jackson County Hospital. Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, Guindle "Butch" Martin, Cornelia, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Desiree Williams, Cornelia, GA; grandchildren, Amber Hester, Dillon Williams, Nicholas Williams. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Mike Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Baldwin City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
