Linda Lee Kneller Buschmann

Linda Lee Buschmann, age 66 of Demorest, Georgia, went home to be with her Savior on Friday, September 04, 2009. Born in Excelsior Springs, Missouri on August 09, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Iona Isley Kneller. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Wille. Linda was devoted to serving the Lord in many capacities. She never knew a stranger and had a special place in her heart for children (and dogs). Linda devoted much of her heart to child evangelism at the many churches she assisted her husband with in his service to the Lord, currently serving at Leatherwood Baptist Church in Baldwin. Anyone who knew Linda was blessed by her grateful and kind heart. Linda, in recent years devoted her time in the afternoon working with children in the Homework Center at Clarkesville Elementary School. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of Line Baptist Church in Alto. Heaven is sounding sweeter now and we are looking for that Blessed Hope of our Lord's glorious return. Survivors include her beloved husband of 48 years, Reverend Jerry Buschmann, Sr., Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Bob Reiss, Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Buschmann, Jr. and Courtney Buschmann, Franklin, NC; daughter, Laura Buschmann, Lynchburg, VA; loving grandchildren, Robert, Katie, Lyndsy, Brooke, Tristen, Shea, and Isabella. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 08, 2009 from Line Baptist Church in Alto, GA with the Reverend Jerry Buschmann, Sr. and the Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Tuesday.
