Linda Lee Adams Bridges

Linda Adams Bridges, age 65, of Cornelia, GA died Friday, June 22, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Bridges was born on February 6, 1942 in Dekalb County, Georgia to the late Edward Herndon and Minnie Mae Campbell Adams. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Union County, Blairsville, Georgia, where she has served as a youth minister and later as an older adult minister. Survivors include: her husband: David Bridges, Cornelia, Georgia; two daughters: Karen Bridges Norris, Raleigh, North Carolina, Jennifer Bridges, New York, New York; one son Reese Bridges, Cornelia, Georgia; one grandchild. Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Adams Bridges will be Monday, June 25, 2007 at 1:00 PM at The United Methodist Church of Union County, Blairsville, Georgia with Pastor Ben Lewis, and Pastor Eddie Herring officiating. Interment will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens at 3:45 PM with Dr. Robert Brown officiating. The body will placed in the church at 10:00 AM to lie in state until 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 24, 2007.
