Linda Fay Griffith

Linda Fay Griffith, age 65, of Demorest, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 16, 2017. Mrs. Griffith was born on May 23, 1951, in Demorest, Georgia, to the late Rev. Carl and Pauline Moore. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Warlend Griffith. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Toccoa. Linda was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Michael Caudell, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Annette Taylor, Trion; sisters: Frances Hudson, Mt. Airy, Margaret Loudermilk, Mt. Airy, Doris Stewart, Clermont, and Joyce Owens, Gainesville; brothers, Gene Moore, Lyerly and J.C. Moore, Turnerville; and grandchildren, Lindsey Caudell and Mackenzie Taylor. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2017, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Albert Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the memorial hour on Friday at the funeral home.
