Linda Brown

LINDA BROWN, age 58, of Homer, GA died Sunday, December 24, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA following a sudden illness. Miss Brown was born on March 31, 1948 in Banks County, Georgia to Mary Magdelene Lewallen Brown and the late Noah Richmond Brown. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jacky Brown. Miss Brown was involved in child care for most of her life. She attended the Cornelia Church of Christ. Survivors include: her Mother, Mary Magdelene Brown of Homer, GA, two sisters: Peggy B. Howard, Homer, GA, Maxine Lord, Commerce, GA, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin with the Rev. Billy Burrell, Rev. Edward Lewallen and Rev. Gene Todd officiating. Graveside service will be conducted by Martin Davis. Interment will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
