Lily B, Bland

Lily B. Bland, age 94, of Baldwin, Georgia, died Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Habersham County Medical Center. Mrs. Bland was born on August 9, 1915 in Newton County, Georgia to the late John Jefferson and Bessie Moore Blake. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Barney W. Bland. Mrs. Bland was a member of the PineView Baptist Church, Reidsville, GA, and was a homemaker. Survivors include: her step-son: Wellborn Bland, AL; her niece: Hazel Quinn, Cornelia, GA; her great-niece: Jane Quinn, Cornelia, GA. She was the last member of her immediate family. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from the PineView Baptist Church Cemetery, Reidsville, GA with Rev. Jessie Browning officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
