Leveyon Trotter

LEVEYON TROTTER, age 69, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Trotter was born on February 8, 1943, in Clarkesville, Georgia, to the late Clyde Peyton Trotter, Sr. and Monteen Meadows Trotter. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Larry I. Trotter and Clyde P. Trotter, Jr. and his granddaughter, Natalie Elayne Tench. Mr. Trotter was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and James Tench, Baldwin, GA and Pam and Boyd Davis, Cleveland, GA; sister, Brenda T. Burrell, Clarkesville, GA; brothers, Charles P. Trotter, Trion, GA, James W. Trotter, Clarkesville, GA, and Tommy L. Trotter, Sr., Clarkesville, GA; and grandson, Clayton Tench. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012, at the funeral home.
