LESLIE THOMAS, age 65, of Alto, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Thomas was born on December 13, 1946, in Banks County, Georgia; son of the late Ray and Dessie Merle White Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Letha Dodd and his brothers, Elois, Junior, David, and Eugene Thomas. Mr. Thomas was formerly employed with Ken-Bar Manufacturing Company for 16 years. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Brenda Titshaw Thomas, Alto, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Robert Walden, Lula, GA; son, Bobby Thomas, Alto, GA; sisters, Hazel Miller, Gainesville, GA and Ruby Wade, Alto, GA; brothers, Dexter Thomas and Harold Thomas, both of Alto, GA; and grandchildren, Ollie Walden, Blake Farkas, Savannah Thomas, Sharon Wade, Kesha Thomas, Kayla Thomas, and Katie Free. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Tim Beasley officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
