Laurel Cassandra Crane

Laurel Cassandra Crane, age 68, of Gainesville, Georgia, formerly of Cornelia, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 following a sudden illness. Ms. Crane was born on January 6, 1948 in Clarkesville, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sarah Payne Anspach; brothers, Ronald Crane; Lawrence Crane; sister, Sharon Crane. Ms. Crane was a member of The Habersham 7th Day Adventist. She was also a retired private duty CNA. Survivors include her daughter, Tina Ramsey, of Gainesville; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Roy G. Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2016 at the funeral home.
