Laura Mealer Gailey, age 43, of Baldwin, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015. Mrs. Gailey was born on July 10, 1971 in Gainesville, Georgia to James and Gail London Mealer. She attended Tates Creek Baptist Church where she worked with the youth group. She was a home school teacher, and home maker. She loved caring for and helping other people. She is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Harold London; paternal grandparents, Richard and Lassie Mealer; father-in-law, Thomas Gailey; and brother-in-law, Michael Gailey. Survivors include loving husband of 23 years, Roger Gailey, of Baldwin; parents, James and Gail London Mealer, of Baldwin; daughter, Madison Gailey, of Baldwin; son, Morgan Gailey, of Baldwin; sister, Elaine Rogers, of Baldwin; maternal grandmother, Corene London, Baldwin, GA; mother-in-law, Pauline Gailey, Baldwin, GA. Memorial Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 22, 2015 at Tates Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jerrell Beatty and Rev. Russ Brown officiating. family will receive friends at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2015.
