Larry Wanye Purdy Sr.

Francis Kennedy, age 70, of Demorest, GA died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Kennedy was born on February 14, 1938 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Shade Lee and Euna Belle Allen Kennedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, J. Lee Allen, a brother, Rex Allen, and a sister, Elaine Allen. Mrs. Kennedy was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her sister: Barbara Barron, Demorest, GA; her brothers: Verner Kennedy and Jimmy Allen both of Demorest, GA. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2008 from the Demorest City Cemetery with Dr. Tom Mewborn officiating. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
