Ladelle Crumley Whitfield

Ladelle Crumley Whitfield, age 85, of Cornelia, GA died Saturday, November 10, 2007 at a private health care facility. Mrs. Whitfield was born on May 6, 2007 to the late Henry Morton and Grace Stephens Crumley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James B. Whitfield, and son, James B. Whitfield II. Mrs. Whitfield was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church and a former choir member. She was a retired cosmetologist with 44 years of service. Mrs. Whitfield was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include: daughters and son-in-laws: Marcia Ann & Tommy Marcus, Clarkesville, GA, and Jane & Lyn Cash, Tiger, GA; daughter-in-law: Janice Whitfield, Birmingham, AL; brother: Jolly Crumley, Homer, GA; 8 Grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, November 11, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin. Burial will follow in the Level Grove Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm on Monday, November 11, 2007 at the funeral home.
