KEOOUDONE SINLAPAKONE, age 61, of Alto, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Sinlapakone was born on March 5, 1951, in Laos; a son of the late Van and Kuan Louonekhot Sinlapakone. He was employed with the Fieldale Farms Corporation as a mechanic where he had 22 years of dedicated service. Mr. Sinlapakone was a member of the Wat Lao Buddhist Temple. Survivors include his wife, Bouavanh Thammavong, Alto, GA; daughter, Kayelani Sinlapakone, MO; daughter and son-in-law, Bounpheng and David Phommyvong, Cornelia, GA; son, Khammone Sinlapakone, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Becky Reil, Cornelia, GA; step-children, Joy Thammavong, Cornelia, GA and Janie Thammavong, Alto, GA; and grandchildren, Tyris Sinlapakone, Andru Kinnarath, Dawson Phommyvong, Raiden Reil, Tupac Thammavong, Ronin Somchith, and Briohny Somchith. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with the Monks from the Wat Lao Buddhist Temple and the Leaders of the Lao Families Association of Habersham County officiating.
