Kenny Newell

KENNY NEWELL, age 26, of Habersham County, Georgia, died Sunday, September 17, 2006. Mr. Newell was born on March 17, 1980 in Cobb County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reece and Lucille Newell and a 1st cousin, Christopher J. Brown. Mr. Newell was of the Baptist faith and was employed with Scovill Fasteners, Inc., Clarkesville, Georgia. Survivors include: his wife: April Newell and daughter Alysa Newell, of the home; his father and step-mother: Ken and Dian Newell, Rome, GA; his mother and step-father: Beverly Welch and Denver Lowe, Demorest, GA;; Sister: Brooke Murray, Eatonton, GA; 4 step-brothers: Rex Allen, Cleveland, GA; Kevin Allen, Clarkesville, GA; Randy Lowe, Demorest, GA; Danny Lowe, Demorest, GA; Grandparents: Barbara and Ben Watson, Grayson, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest with Rev. Brian Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
