Kenneth Maxwell

Kenneth Maxwell, age 70, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Mr. Maxwell was born on October 31, 1947, in White County, Georgia, to the late Logan and Lillie Mae Simmons Maxwell. He was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church. Mr. Maxwell was owner and operator of B & W Diesel. Survivors include his wife, Wanda LaCount Maxwell of Cornelia; sons and daughters-in-law, Loren and Cindy Maxwell of Ohio; Ben and Melinda Maxwell of Dahlonega; sisters: Clara Sellers, Beatrice Humphries, Virginia Barnes, Joyce Palmer, Janice Erwin, Sandra Ferguson, and Cathy Ott; brothers, Dennie Maxwell and Manson Maxwell; and five grandchildren: Alex Maxwell, Miranda Maxwell, Marina Hernandez, Nolan Maxwell, and Grady Maxwell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Pastor Scott Smith and Pastor Michael Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in Baldwin City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the funeral home.
