Kenneth Foster

KENNETH FOSTER, age 61, of Baldwin, Georgia, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Foster was born on September 13, 1944 in Rabun County, Georgia. He was a son of the late I.N. and Lassie Mae English Foster and was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Smith. Mr. Foster was a United States Navy veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Cornelia Church of God and was employed by Propex, Inc. Survivors include: his wife: Gail Foster, Baldwin, GA; Daughters: Lisa Black, Gainesville, GA; Amy Jenkins, Rock Hill, SC; Louise Umberhandt, Baldwin, GA; Sons: Kenneth Marion Foster and Shannon Chaffin, both of Baldwin, GA; Brothers: Jack Foster, Cornelia, GA; Claude Foster, Lithia Springs, GA; 8 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with Rev. Austin Ivester and Rev. Eddie Umbehant officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jason Thornton officiating at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
