KATHY ANGELA MARIE LUNA, age 43, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Luna was born on June 22, 1967, in Toccoa, Georgia, to Peggy Evans of Pendergrass, Georgia and the late Charles Raymond Kyle, Sr. Kathy worked at Dairy Queen and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband of 16 years, Luis M. Luna, Mt. Airy, GA; daughter, Brandy Kyle, Mt. Airy, GA; sons, Modesto Romero and Spencer Romero, both of Mt. Airy, GA; brother, Charles and April Kyle, Pendergrass, GA; granddaughter, Samaira Morales, Mt. Airy, GA; and nieces and nephews, Jessika, Aaron, Kara, and Connor Kyle, all of Pendergrass, GA. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Kevin Hembree and Rev. Douglas Gaines officiating. Interment will follow in the Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
