Katherine Anderson

Katherine Anderson, age 89, of Clarkesville, GA, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019. Mrs. Anderson was born on March 26, 1930 in Clarkesville, GA to the late Charlie and Sylvia Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Anderson; 3 sons: Charles Anderson, David Anderson, and Earl Anderson; several siblings also preceeded Mrs. Anderson. Mrs. Anderson was retired from Fieldale with 45 years of loyal and dedicated service. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors include: one sister, Penny Hallford, Blairsville, Ga: one brother, Charles Wilson, Iva, SC; 6 grandchildren, Jason Anderson, John Henry Anderson, Dawn McEntire, Lee Anderson, Damien Anderson and Justin Anderson; 17 great-grandchildren. A Time of Remembrance with family and friends will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm, on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
