June Miller Stokes

JUNE MILLER STOKES, age 76, of Kingston, NY, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at a private care facility. Mrs. Stokes was born on October 8, 1930 in East Kingston, NY to the late William and Myrtle Winters Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Lawson. Mrs. Stokes was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include: her husband, Floyd Stokes, Cleveland, GA; his sister: Doris Fleming, Creek Locks, NY; her brothers: Donald Miller, Port Ewen, NY; Thomas Miller, Kingston, NY; Jerry Miller, Florida; 1 grandchild; 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2007 from the Chapel of Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Kingston, NY. Burial will follow in the Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY. Local arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
