Judy Cook

Judy Cook, age 70, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018. Mrs. Cook was born on March 10, 1947, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, John Newman; mother, Henrietta Balabin; and husband, Richard R. Cook, Jr. In addition to being a dedicated wife and homemaker, Mrs. Cook, along with her late husband, was co-owner and operator of Cook’s Garage in Florida. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Brian Ausburn of Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Richard Allen and Maria Cook of Port Orange, FL; son, Casey Raymond Cook; and grandchildren, Samuel Ausburn and Emily Mae Cook. A celebration of life with family and friends will be held from 3-5 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
