J.T. Lindsey

J.T. LINDSEY, age 82, of Cornelia, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Mr. Lindsey was born in Nashville, Georgia on November 25, 1931, to the late John Thomas and Sallie McNabb Lindsey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Correne Murphy Lindsey. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Lindsey was a United States Air Force Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. Survivors include daughters, Cheryl Hatos, Roswell and Carol Gerrin, Savannah; sister, Anne Alexander, Roswell; and two grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lloyd Free officiating.
