Joyce Doby Mull

Joyce Doby Mull, age 66, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Mrs. Mull was born on October 24, 1950, in Homestead, Florida, to the late James Dwight and Eda Cole Doby. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Mull and son, James Lee Mull. Mrs. Mull was retired owner of Kut & Kurl Beauty Shop. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and Bradley Jones, Mt. Airy; sons, Michael Mull, Clarkesville and Ronnie Mull, Alto; sisters: Vickie Ray Chastain, Clarkesville, Louise Peters, Jackson, MS, Connie Lavelle, Cleveland, Jackie Mallot, Serrento, FL, Kimberly Rector, Kentucky, Phyllis Marie Shradder, Florida, and Markay James, Florida; brothers: Robert Wayne Doby, Cleston Doby, Ronnie Doby, and Ricky Doby, all of Florida; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Bill Trotter and Rev. Mickey Umbehant officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
