Joyce Norris Echols

JOYCE NORRIS ECHOLS, age 67, of Lula, GA passed away September 30, 2015. Mrs. Echols was born in Gainesville, GA on December 27, 1947 to the Late J.D. and Ollie Wade Norris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sammie Lee Echols and brother, James Norris. Mrs. Echols was a homemaker and a member of Belton Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jerry Arrowood of Lula; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Teri Echols of Lula; sisters, Pauline Adkins and Sybil Smith, both of Gainesville, GA; brother, Wiley Norris of Hoschton, GA; Billy Flynn, of Georgia; grandchildren, Sharon, Jonathan, and Bethany Arrowood, Timothy and Taylor Echols; also a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel in Baldwin with Rev. Raymond Payne, Rev. Kendall Mann, and Rev. Tony Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow in the Belton Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M.
