Joseph N. Ruark

JOSEPH N. RUARK, age 85, of Baldwin, formerly of Crestview Florida and Madison Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013. Mr. Ruark was born in Clarke County, Georgia on December 3, 1927, to the late Emory Lemuel Ruark and Ruby Eleanor Saye Ruark. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Mary Ruark; and brothers, Herbert Ruark and Kelly Ruark. Mr. Ruark was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a retired employee of Fairchild Aviation Cooperation with several years of service. Survivors include daughter, Donna Ruark Smallwood, Ukraine; son, David Ruark, Iron River, WI; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Carleen Ruark, Cornelia, GA; brother, Charles Ruark, Rock Hill SC; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and William Tumlin, Tega Cay, SC; two grandchildren, Joey Salmon, Colorado, and Mary Frances Miller, St. Augustine, FL; 5 great-grandchildren; The family would like to say thanks to a special niece, Bobbie Ruark Jones, for her special care of Joe. Mr. Ruark is also survived by other nieces and nephews. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Oconee Hills Cemetery, Athens, Georgia.
