Joseph Monroe "Joe" Fry

JOSEPH MONROE "JOE" FRY, age 58, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012, following an extended illness. Mr. Fry was born in Demorest, Georgia on March 11, 1954. He was the son of Desma Dyer Fry of Demorest, GA and the late Sylvester Monroe Fry. Mr. Fry was of the Methodist Faith. He was the owner operator of Demorest Paint and Body, Inc. and a NASCAR spotter. Survivors include, in addition to his mother, his sister, Nina Fry, Demorest, GA. Funeral services are scheduled for 5 p.m., Monday, August 13, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Brian James and Mr. Melvin Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m., Monday, August 13, 2012, until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Helping Hands Ministry, P.O. Box 337, Tallulah Falls, Georgia 30573 for the care of Mr. Brandon Christian.
