John W. Trost

John W Trost, age 82, Clarkesville, GA died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at a local medical center. Mr. Trost was born on December 5, 1924 in Lake Beulah, WI to the late Wesley Albert and Louise C Kuckack Trost. He was a member of the Luthern Church in WI and was a former member and past president of the AARP. Mr. Trost retired from Eastern Airlines as a mechanic with 29 years of dedicated service. Mr. Trost was survived by a special friend Betty Franklin, Clarkesville, GA. and a number of nieces and nephews. He was the last immediate surviving member of his family. Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 23, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA. with Rev. Virgil Vickers officiating. The family will receive friends after the memorial service. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, PO Box 27 Turnerville, GA 30580.
