John H. Mclean

JOHN H. MCLEAN, age 95, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012, following an extended illness. Mr. McLean was born on September 11, 1916, in Manila, Philippines, to the late Forman and Mary Morford McLean. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Myers McLean. Mr. McLean was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church and was a retired chemist with the DuPont Corporation. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. William and Cathy McLean, Cornelia, GA and John Hull and Barbara McLean, Millsboro, DE; four grandchildren, William McLean II, Kimberly Allen, Alex McLean, and John McLean; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2012, from Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Charles Mallard officiating. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that all donations and memorials be made to: John B.
