JOHN H. CRUMP, age 74, of Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Mr. Crump was born in Banks County, on December 29, 1938, to the late Dock Fulton and Stella Fagan Crump. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Plumer Crump. Mr. Crump was a member of Baldwin Baptist Church. He was a retired self-employed used car dealer for over 50 years. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Hilda Sayer Crump, Baldwin; sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Missy Crump, Baldwin, Randy and Amy Crump, Carnesville; sisters, Janice Thurmond, Mt. Airy, Barbara Dudley, Central, SC, June Galloway, Mt. Airy; brother, Larry Crump, Goose Creek, SC; two grandchildren, Aaron and Jonathan Crump, Baldwin; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Jerry Stowe and Rev. Scott Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, in Stephens County, with Rev. Frank Sailers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2013.
