John Burley

JOHN ALFRED BURLEY, age 78, Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013. Mr. Burley was born in Liverpool, England on May 10, 1935; to the late Alfred Charles and Margaret Burley. He served in the British Army and retired plasterer with New York City Housing Authority with 20 years of service. Survivors include loving wife of 48 years, Denise Southwell Burley, Baldwin; daughters and sons-in-law, Jaclyn and Richard O'Leary, Mt. Airy, and Lynda and Brian Zobrist, Ridge, NY; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Tony Rizzo, Springhill, FL; and four grandchildren, Jack Zobrist, Megan O'Leary, Sarah Zobrist and Erin O'Leary. Memorial services are scheduled for 5 p.m., on Saturday, November 16, 2013, Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
