John Bigelow

John Louis Bigelow, age 88, of Clarkesville, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the residence following an extended illness. Mr. Bigelow was born on October 6, 1919 in Hudson County, N.J. to the late George and Susan Frimm Bigelow. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, George and Edward Bigelow, and one sister, Estelle Boyce. Mr. Bigelow was of the Roman Catholic Faith. He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran and a retired dispatcher with the teamsters union. Survirors include his wife, Carmela Bigelow, Clarkesville GA; son, John Bigelow, Clarkesville, GA, and, the last friend he ever made, Angelique. Mr. Bigelow is also survived by two sisters, Lillian Melio and Irene Natelli, both of New Jersey. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
