Joe Norman Brookshire

Joe Norman Brookshire, III, age 57, of Clarkesville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 15, 2019. Mr. Brookshire was born June 27, 1962 in Demorest, Georgia. Joe loved life and loved everyone. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his children and grandchildren. He was known as Papa Joe to his grandchildren and "The Wolf" by others. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Misty Brookshire, of Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Candice Davis and Zachary Davis, of Alabama; parents, Joe and Joann Brookshire, of Demorest; grandchildren, Waylon, Audrey, Leena, Isaac; brothers, Tony Brookshire, Richard Brookshire, Dale Brookshire, and Jason Brookshire. A Visitation Service will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel.
