Jody Larue Rogers,

Jody Larue Rogers, Jr., age 28, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Jody was born on May 3, 1990, in Commerce, Georgia, to Jody and Lynn Rogers of Clarkesville. He was employed with Mt. Vernon Mills as a maintenance technician. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lefty Rogers and maternal grandparents, Stanley and Ruby Roberts. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sister, Amber Nicole Rogers of Eastanollee and paternal grandmother, Dorothy Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 4, 2019, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Richard Dalton and Pastor Tim Beasley officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the funeral home.
