Jo Nell Crane Coley

JO NELL CRANE COLEY, age 83 of Alto, Georgia passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015. Mrs. Coley was born on February 22, 1932, in Habersham County to the late Roland N. and Ella Flanagan Crane. She was employed as a seamstress technician for Carwood Manufacturing and retired with 40 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Coley; sons, Richard and Billy Coley; sister, Virginia Ramey; and brothers, R.N. Crane, Jr. and Bobby Crane. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Wendell Norton of Alto, GA; son, Kenneth Coley of Lula, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Paulette Coley of Baldwin, GA; and son, Ronnie Coley of Alto, GA; sister, Beatrice McElwaney of Douglasville, GA; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and a number of nephews and nieces. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel in Baldwin, GA with Rev. Anthony Shore officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015.
