Jessica Whiteman McDonald, age 90, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Mrs. McDonald was born on December 20, 1924 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Joe W. and Tama Davis Whiteman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William L. McDonald; son, Joseph Keith McDonald; sister, Jacqueline W. Roddy; and brother, Jerry W. Whiteman. Mrs. McDonald was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker. Survivors are her daughter, Carol McManus, Cornelia, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Gary Henderson, Marietta, GA; grandchildren, John G. and Laura McManus Jr., MD, Evans, GA , Anne Marie and Beau Wingate, Cornelia, GA, Erin and Chris Munday, Flowery Branch, GA, Mary Beth and Trey Snelson, Hoschton, GA; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held. The family would like to thank The Oaks Assisted Living and caregivers. They were a part of her family.
