Jerry B. Stephens

Jerry B. Stephens, age 63, of Cornelia, Georgia went to his heavenly home on Friday, April 2, 2021. Mr. Stephens was born on May 2, 1957 in Hall County, Georgia to Junior Stephens of Lula; and the late Ethel Maney Stephens. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Brenda Sue Stephens. He had worked in the textile and poultry industries for many years. Mr. Stephens also farmed which included vegetable gardening and raising hogs. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors in the woods. Jerry loved practical jokes and pulling pranks on his friends and family. In addition to his father, he is survived by his son, Jerry "Jay" Hawkins, of Gainesville; grandchildren, Trenton Hawkins, Bailey Hawkins, both of Gainesville; sisters, Bernice Hatcher, of Cornelia; Grace Hardy, of Lula; Mae Stewart, of Lula; Betty Turpin (Roy) of Gillsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Westview Cemetery in Lula, Georgia.
