Jeff David Hollifield

Jeff David Hollifield, age 39, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away following an extended illness on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Mr. Hollifield was born on August 13, 1974 in Gainesville, Georgia; son of Douglas F and Carol Jane Lewallen Hollifield, of Clarkesville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jeff T. Lewallen and paternal grandmother, Oma Stockton Hollifield Gunn. Mr. Hollifield was member of Macedonia Baptist Church and he was disabled. In addition to his parents he was survived by his brother, Michael Hollifield, Clarkesville and maternal grandmother, Lucille Segars Lewallen, Clarkesville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Miller and Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest Georgia.
