Jaquetta Fincannon

JAQUETTA FINCANNON, age 66, of Carnesville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013, following an extended illness. Mrs. Fincannon was born on August 1, 1947, in Plant City, Florida; daughter of the late Olin and Myrtis Williams English. She was a member of Middle River Baptist Church. Jaquetta was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her beloved husband, Truett Fincannon, Carnesville; daughter and son-in-law, Malena and Joel Hewell, Alto; son, Wendell Fincannon, Republic, Missouri; sisters, Nancy Roberts, Mississippi, Rosemary Harris, Minnesota, and Kay Kimbrell, Atlanta; brothers, Olin English, Jr. and Raymond English, both of Atlanta; and grandchildren, Makayla Hewell and Austin Hewell. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Jay Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013, at the funeral home.
