Janice Coleman Green

JANICE COLEMAN GREEN, age 64, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012, following an illness. Mrs. Green was born on April 22, 1948, in Mt. Airy, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Claude Lamar Coleman, Sr. and Lillian Payne Coleman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Coleman. Mrs. Green was of the Baptist faith. She was a very dedicated wife and homemaker. Survivors include husband, Richard David Green, Demorest, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Donnie Miller, Demorest, GA and Debra and John Hallford, Toccoa, GA; son, Richard Green, Clarkesville, GA; sisters, Ann Elrod, Clarkesville, GA and Sue Chastain, Mt. Airy, GA; brothers, Lamar Coleman, Cornelia, GA, Jimmy and Rex Coleman, both of Mt. Airy, GA; grandchildren, Jessica Hallford, Derek Hallford, and Austin Miller. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Pastor David Sosebee and Pastor Chris Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, from Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
